One of the most gifted artists of her generation, Lapwood is famed for introducing the organ to millions of new fans through her interpretations of both classical and contemporary works. On this new record – her most ambitious to date – she dives into two of the most iconic film soundtracks, Howard Shore’s ‘The Lord of the Rings’ and Hans Zimmer’s ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’, reimagining them as major works for organ and using them to showcase the Steinmeyer organ of Nidaros Cathedral, Trondheim.

One of the biggest video game success stories of recent years is set to make history as Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 – A Painted Symphony comes to The O2 in London on Sunday 28 February 2027, set to be the first ever concert at the venue dedicated to a video game soundtrack. The landmark performance will be the only UK show on a major international tour taking A Painted Symphony to some of the world’s most iconic venues, including Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona, Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam, Radio City Music Hall in New York and the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles.

The Film in Concert Event of 2027 – Interstellar Live comes to The O2 London

Christopher Nolan’s Oscar-winning sci-fi epic Interstellar will be presented live in concert on the big screen at The O2, London, on Sunday 23 May 2027, accompanied by a spectacular live performance of Hans Zimmer’s Academy Award and BAFTA-nominated revelatory score. For two performances only (matinee and evening), Interstellar Live will bring together the 65-piece Royal Philharmonic Concert Orchestra, acclaimed conductor and Hans Zimmer-collaborator, Matt Dunkley as well as Roger Sayer, the organist personally selected by Zimmer to perform the original Interstellar soundtrack, for an arena-scale celebration of one of the most acclaimed films and film scores of the 21st century.
